![]() We feel strongly that in order to run a plan effectively, a plan sponsor should work with an advisor that truly understands the requirements of ERISA and can help the plan sponsor manage his or her fiduciary responsibilities. One way to know that an advisor is serious about their responsibilities to the plan sponsor is through their continuing education efforts. This can be evidenced through their designations. Someone who has earned their AIF®or AIFA® designation has completed specialized training and education to learn how to help plan sponsors as well as others to manage their fiduciary responsibilities. While these are not the only designations that indicate an advisor's efforts to do well for their clients, they are examples of designations that demonstrate an advisor's efforts to improve their core competencies. We take our continuing education seriously. Joe has earned his AIF® designation and Bill has his AIFA®. In addition, we attend workshops and Department of Labor seminars to stay on top of the changes occurring in the qualified plan market. The same objective tools we use to evaluate a plan, are the same objective tools we use to implement and monitor a plan over time to provide consistency
